This is very impressive¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How is your egg doing? Hope it’s working! Also, not going to be able to try this method for a few months, as we are leaving until mayWell, yesterday would’ve been lockdown day BUT it ended up passing. I tossed a few in the ‘ol incubator (I cut the top about 72hrs after they’ve been in there) but only 1 ended up being fertilized. I knew the others were a no go. this 1 is developing nicely, nice veining & has movement. We shall see. Like I said before, I have NO idea why I was able to hatch 3 open eggs on my 1st try in the past.I really should’ve taken good notes.
You've got an incubator full going and you're leaving them? Also, not going to be able to try this method for a few months, as we are leaving until may. Also, I forgot about that for a week and filled up my incubator XD. I have set up a system to let them into the brooder once they hatch.
That 1 checked out, but I do have 1 that is on day 20 & getting ready to hatch (fingers crossed). A cool thing about this window egg is that it is a 2nd generation window egg! Its momma was 1 of the 3 chicks I hatched successfully after cutting the top off.How is your egg doing? Hope it’s working! Is this the 'unattended' method?

Soooo how’s it going to work when your eggs hatch while you’re gone? I’m intrigued.Let me know if you try this experiment again when you get back!
