Has anyone used these Chicken blinders?

My coop is 24x12 with a catwalk, second story and 12x12 ac shed with 13 chickens. I thought that was kinda small. I would never put 40 in it. I did see one hen continuously pull feathers out of another hen. They are nesting together in a 4x8 dog pen after one hatched a baby two days ago. They both want the chick badly and are great moms. Im planning on getting three more in the morning. I just hope they wont get the chick sick. Only tractor supply has the now...any advice??? The two hens are copper maran and rhode island red. They still have a bunch more eggs but in the az heat most are rotten

Subtraction??????? Do u mean murder? These are my babies...I think this website has some good advice...but so cruel.
The info in my signature does not necessarily apply to your issues.

I suggested you start a new thread about this.....

..so as not to hijack this thread.

I just put pinless peepers on my oldest buff orpington hen who started bullying a couple weeks ago. She wore them for 3 days. And for 3 days she still chased and pecked at the other girls. It seemed like she could still see enough to maneuver to peck at them.
I took the peepers off and separated her for 3 days. That seems to have helped a bit, though not entirely.

Possibly you don't have enough room for them. Where they spend the majority of their time may not be enough for 40 chickens. Forget the measurements that the "experts" have suggested per chicken, as I've found out through my experience that it takes A LOT of space to keep chickens contented. Chickens are busy, busy creatures, and if they don't have enough space there can be behavioral problems.

Please post pics of their coop/run space with all of your chickens in it. Maybe then someone can help you further. Also, how much free range time do they get?

There was someone on my state thread that used them on one of her hens and she had good luck with them. The hen doesn't wear them now but she did for quite some time. They seem to have done the trick for her situation.

The recommendation is 2-3 sq foot per bird if they have access to outside run and/or free range. I have 160 sq feet of coop space, 100sq feet outside run and they free range. If I go with 3 sq ft per bird I technically have room for 50 birds in the coop. I really don't think its the coop or space, I think its more than I got a breed mixed with Rhode island red that was suppose to be docile breed, which they are not, they are my aggressors and picking on all my other truly docile breeds. Was looking at Peepers as my last option to keep my egg production without any more harm to flock. If they fail i will be getting rid of the breed all together.

Here is pictures of coop in building progress, run not attached in these pictures yet.
