Red helped me refill the water tanks this morning and gave a wee poop to encourage (assumed his?) tiny friends.

What’s the first day folks candle? I have not yet. This would be day 3.

I like to peak the end of Day 3, so I set in the morning then do a first quick candling the evening of the third day. Don't worry if you don't see much, Day 4 typically shows better but I just can't help myself!

This first peak I don't even pick up the eggs, I have a candling flashlight that I just touch to the top of the egg. On Day 7 I'll pick up the egg and take a good look I'll circle any embryos with a pencil, put "?" on any that I'm unsure of and not mark clears. On Day 10 or Day 14 I'll recheck all the ?'s and clears and remove any that are truly clear or any quitters.
