Hatcheries - no minimum recommendations?

Are there any hatcheries similar to ideal that have no minimum? I usually use them but the breeds I want won’t be available until later this year.

Murray McMurray has a 6 minimum with a 35.00 small order fee. Other than that, not that I know of

Meyer has a minimum of 3 but I don’t think it starts until April. December through March it’s 8 and Nov through April it’s 3. My Pet Chicken is the same I think.

Cackle I think has a small minimum too but it’s like a $20 small order fee so may not be worth it.

I don’t think there’s any others that have Ideal’s policy where it’s a dollar amount instead of minimum number of chicks.

MTHealthy has a 3 chick minimum. However, it makes you put 3 chicks of a breed in the cart. Just put the required number, then go to your cart and change it to 1, or the desired number you want of the breed. Just make sure there’s atleast 3 chicks in the cart

I think cackle does 3 chicks, but for that small an order, I'd order pool with others.

They’re expensive but I find their birds to be worth it.

I think their minimum for ducks is even lower. I’ve purchased just two ducklings at once.
