hatchery?

I got a thread somewhere here and a good member recommended to me Ideal Poultry. I couldn't get everything in order for checkout and by then, all the breeds I was ordering got sold out. I am searching the internet for a hatchery and would say I have thoroughly researched maybe 30 or so hatcheries. Also, most hatcheries have minimum order of 25 chicks (total or per breed

) and I can only order 10, and only have the resources for 10. Any hatchery recommendations? If you happen to know what is in stock there, I am ordering:
2 of Any Blue/Green/Colored egg Large Fowl ((Amer)acauna, etc.) Pullets
2 White or California White Leghorns Pullets
2 Barred Rock/Australorp Pullets
2 Buff Silkies St Run
2 Red (Frizzle preferred) Cochins St Run

I recently ordered from my pet chicken and was very pleased. I got them the day after they hatched (I expected 2 days, due to distance) and they were healthy and continue to thrive! I have noticed, as I look at breeds to get for spring, that many breeds are not available right now. I think it all slows down int he winter.

But....I recommend MPC and others speak highly of Meyer...... Both have low minimums.

I got mine from Meyer and have been very happy with both my chickens and the customer service I received

They have a 3 chick minimum. If you go to their website I think they have a section that shows what is available now.

I think MPC doesn't actually have the chickens but is a middle man like Efowl, and gets the chicks shipped from a hatchery nearest you. Not sure how they manage the small orders.

Ideal is a $25 minimum not a chicken number minimum. I just ordered from them and it was a great experience. My chicks are now 1 week old and thriving. Meyer Hatchery has a 3 chick order minimum.
