Wow! It is so rare for a double yolk egg to make it to hatch and actually hatch. Im so sorry the chick didn’t make it but that is so fascinating! If you still have it (and have the willpower to do so) it would be really cool to see some detailed photos! If you aren’t comfortable with that though, I understand. Sorry about it that little one!
I love it, so easy to clean. Just take it out dump it and spray down with hose. And all the mess stays in it. Also great for ducklings. And once they're older and can jump I'll just put some wire around it and keeps them in.Like the pool touch, I would have never thought of this.

The yoke sack was full and had another what look like earlier formed chick. Another chick broke it. You can see it in the water fill of my incubator. The formed chick organs were intertwined with the other yoke and small embryo. It looks very different dried out.
