These two pipped and I made the hole for their beaks a little bit bigger they pipped at 11 ish but not much more than this. It’s been a while since I hatched and last one was shrink wrapped and I had to assist. Should I wait until later this evening to help

I got one out and the umbilical cord is still slightly attached the other that pipped is still in the membrane. If I peel it back even slightly it bleeds profusely so I am afraid to go any further to help it but it can wiggle much. The others haven’t pipped yet

Hopefully things have turned out o.k. by now.

I did note yesterday what you'd posted, but forgot to ask. Just because they pip, doesn't mean you have to make the hole bigger.
Unless there's a very clear need to intervene/assist, then it's best to just let them pip and zip on their own.

I highly recommend that you read this article, it will help you determine if making a hole is necessary.

Well out of the 12 eggs i bought one didn’t get past week 2 of development. One died the last day they were supposed to hatch prior to pipping and the last one couldn’t make it out of the shell all the way. So nine of my ayam cemani eggs hatched bought 6 more from rural king that next Friday and today I have had a hen sitting on eggs all day even after I messed with her twice so not sure if she went broody and if our rooster was able to preform since he has been kinda down and out due to poor balance or what her deal is

Hi I need help on what to do with a day old ducking. She is very week I had to assist her hatch and she was malpositioned. The only duckling out of 3 malpositioned that has made it so far. She is in the incubator at 99.5 and has been. Still laying on her side a peep here or there and little movement of her feet and head. I have just started giving her duck egg yolk mixed with electrolytes water and molasses. She has perked up since I started two hours ago when she was practically lifeless. What can I do to save her. Still has a bit or the egg attached.

It's a bummer that the bought eggs didn't hatch, but good that your own did.

Hopefully your hen is sitting on fertilized eggs and you can hatch out a few more. Candle them at around 7 days, you should be able to get a good count on what's developing or not .

I don't know much about Ducks, it sounds like you are doing everything you can.

9 of my bought eggs hatched and they are doing great

I misread!🤦‍♀️ 😊

That's great!
Now I think I have a hen that is broody sitting on about 10 eggs lol unsure if that is the case since yesterday was the first time she refused to leave the nesting box and our rooster refused to leave the coop and they normally chill in the woods mid day out of the sun
