Gorgeous baby. Glad they’re on their feet

I’ve heard the membrane can get really stuck, but I was way more concerned about that yolk than anything else. Since the yolk is absorbing well, though, I’d definitely keep working on getting it off.

Definitely was most concerned about the yolk as well. You only get one shot at not messing that up

For the membrane, I was just concerned about part of the egg being attached to the yolk/umbilical still! I left it alone, will probably just wait for it to detach itself. Theres a thin string attaching it to the center of umbilical.

How is baby doing now ?

As of this morning before I left, it was starting to stand a little bit. Can’t do it for long, it’s more of a quick up down. Same with holding its head up. But still progressing!

It’s been stretching its legs and flapping its wings. Started to try cleaning itself last night.
The yolk is completely gone, so I’m happy to see that.

Going to work on cleaning little one up some more tonight

Id get some poultry cell and add it to its water. or liquid BComplex. Electrolytes are good but they are more for hydrating where the poultry cell has all kinds of vitamins and amino acids to help give the little one a boost. It’s adorable

Oh jeez honestly that’s what I was looking for but all I found was the electrolyte stuff so I figured it might be the same. Would they have it at TSC??
