Yes put both those babies in the brooder under the heat. Make sure they have food and water. Give the new guy 24 hours and if he still has foot problems come back. It takes a few hours for their little legs to start working

Ok, I was under the impression I needed to keep baby in the incubator until it was fully dry. Is that not the case? My brooder

Ok! I was under the impression that new hatchlings needed to stay in the incubator until fully dry. Is that not the case after all?

It’s best to leave them until they dry unless you have more in the incubator That might be disturbed by them. That is if you have a cheap incubator like I do. We usually pull them out in an hour because they knock around the ones that are still hatching and that may disorient them

I do exactly what @Texag87 does. When my littles hatch once they try to really start moving around in the incubator I take them out and put them in the brooder. I take out the nasty shells too. I think the humidity is so high in the brooder they aren't likely to dry very fast in there anyway.

They are wonderful!! They are both in the brooder, super active, and drinking and eating. Thank you so much for checking in! I’ve attached a photo of the little babes I am so happy!!
