Having a hard time w/ Ayam Cemani’s bullying attitude

I have an 8weeks old ayam cemani and silkie. They’ve been together since day one. My other ayam cemani along with two cream legbars arent far behind. They’re only two weeks born apart, which is still a big difference, especially size wise.

My problem is, ive been trying to integrate all of them outside and the older AC would peck on the CLB, nonstop. Everyone else gets along with everyone except with the ac. Im not sure if he’s doing it so they can establish the pecking order or just straight up an ass to the younger ones. Also, he doesnt have a problem with the other young AC, just with the cream leg bars.

Should I just keep going with it or put him in a different cage, next to everyone else’s cage and implement the no touch rule?

I would remove the smaller ones until they are bigger. Chickens will peck on the ones that are weaker than the others. He could injure the chick if he keeps pecking it.

How long ago did you add the younger ones.
How much space do they have?
Might be a good idea separate the bully.

I got the young ones two weeks after i got the silkie and ac. Im using two large dog crate (both around 48xL) that are both attached from one end to the other. I cant really let them out because I have other adult chickens roaming around the backyard. I started the whole integrating process couple days ago; I usually would put the younger ones first outside, then the big ones hoping the big ones would feel intimidated.

I usually dont put my chicks in with bigger hens until they are two to three months old. I make sure they are comparable size. I akso give them somewhere to escape from the bullys until they get the new pecking order sorted out. What you need to watch for is the older or bigger hens ganging up on the weaker ones. Ive had that happen before. Come out and find one pecked to death from the other hens.
If you can make them a run somewhere close by but seperate, Id put the smaller ones in there until they are big enough to defend themselves.

I usually dont put small with the big ones as well, but since all of them are 6weeks+ old I would think it would be okay buy I get what you’re saying. I might have to separate the bully one from everyone else.
