Just another thread about my sick bantam Wyandotte rooster.
How can I get some feed in my bird? He has been drinking A LOT of water. Like, he literally stands in front of the water cup and slowly drinks it until it's all gone. His breast feathers stay wet because of all the water he's drinking. I attempted to give him scrambled eggs with seasonings, but he isn't eating it. He also has two different textures of feed, crumble and min pellet. I have already put Nutri-drench in his water so he's at least getting something. Should I try putting water in his feed? He doesn't even look at the options he has now. Just water water water
The water intake is due to mites, by the way. Noticed the beginning of an infestation and immediately treated with a few drops of Ivermectin. I would just like ideas on getting protein/nutrients in his system.
