Heat lamp temperatures for ducklings

I’m interested in knowing this also? Right now I have 3 week old ducklings that havnt had a heat lamp for a week in my basement temperature at 65-68 most days, now I’m wanting to transfer them out the the outdoor coop the temperature is 49degrees +9 in the coop and was wondering if that is warm enough. That isn’t directly under the heat lamp I have 2 on in an8x8 coop. I personally think it’s warm enough but just not sure for 3 week old ducklings they always seem hot when I pick them up and they don’t huddle anymore to sleep so I’m sure they are plenty warm. But I don’t want to freeze my babies but I have 10 new day old ducklings coming tomorrow and would like to transfer the older ducklings out to the coop.

Did you look here to see what is suggested?

I like Storey's guide to raising ducks as a resource.
As well, ducklings do not need as much heat as chicks. You can start at 90 for new hatches and then lower it 5 degrees each week, but I found that mine did fine at 80 degrees at 2 weeks old. By 3.5 weeks I had them under the heat lamp only during the night. Now at 5 weeks no heat lamp.
Make sure to set up your brooder so that they have plenty of room to choose to be under the heat of the lamp or not.
The building mine are in is a constant 60. If they had all of their feathers, they would be outside. I will take them out at 40 degrees and above when I get the chance. But, they will sleep indoors until they have all of their feathers.
