This is my beautiful Black sex link chicken shes 7 months old she seems fine.. i love her, she's so tame and docile..i can go pick her up and comes to me but ive noticed one of her eye is looking weird and she closes it? It doesn't water or seem infected it just looks set in deep and she closes it a lot.

Welcome to BYC!
While it's something to watch, I don't think it's immediately concerning. Sometimes their eyes can just get wonky. However, if it's bubbling, weeping, or inflamed, that would be cause for concern. But as long as she seems healthy and not in pain, I'd say she's okay and to keep an eye (haha) on her. :)

She has some swelling of the eye. Can you look to see if she's been bitten or injured?

Often swelling along with a sunken eye can be an indication of respiratory illness like Mycoplasma. Have you added new birds recently or have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock?

General care is to clean the eye with saline, remove any pus or debris, then put Terramycin eye ointment in the eye. Do this at least 2x a day.

The pupil looks cloudy, and the eye has the sunken appearance of past respiratory disease, probably mycoplasma (MG.) Have you seen bubbles or foam in the eye? Since she closes it, it may be sore, and I would use a small dot Terramycin or Neosporin ointment into the eye twice a day. Check your coop ventilation and make sure there is good fresh air passing through. Ammonia odors and poor ventilation can affect their eyes and make it more likely for respiratory problems.

She's never had bubbles or foam in her eyes. She just closes it. I've noticed she has had her eye like that for quite a while I have applied neosporin a while back. Something I noticed is when I pick her up I hear her breathing like gasping for air ( only when i pick her up) Maybe respiratory illness?
