I am new to chickens, we got our ladies on May 31, 2024 as day old chicks. We have 5 currently. 2 chocolate Orpingtons, 2 black australorps, and 1 olive egger. I have learned so much just watching them, getting to spend time with them on a daily basis has felt like such a blessing. They’ve brought a lot of happiness having them around 
I’m also an artist and plan on drawing these ladies’ portraits soon which I’m excited about!
I found BYC when first researching chickens and joined the Facebook page but I feel as though it would be beneficial to also be a member here in order to receive some support and also hopefully provide some!
