The best way to integrate the runt chick is to use the see-no-touch method. Keep her separated, but so they can still see each other, for two weeks or so then see how they do together.

The mom is a Silkie mix.

I thought she might be, but she didn't have the fluffy feet of fuzzy feathers so I wasn't sure. Thanks!

I'll definitely try that, we tried to put her back this morning and everyone even mom was going after her

She doesn't have feathered legs or fuzzy feathers, because she's only part Silkie.

Had to chase the goats out of the chicken coop, so here's some pics of the rest of the flock. You can see the extra toe on the Cockerel on top of the rubbish can
