Good morning everyone,
I'm a new member to this community. I am learning how to befriend a lonely goose that obsessively watches the ladies at my work's HR dept. They have big windows that go all the way down to the ground, so he is able to relax, watch, and listen. I have spoken to him quite a bit and he never responds in a threatening way. He just turns himself to look and watch me. Now I know what kind of treats to bring him tomorrow to attempt to see if he would like to trust me a bit more.
I started volunteering at my local humane society while in high school. I did my senior project about them and raised a few grand as well. Once I turned 18, they hired me and until I was around 26 I worked in some sort of animal related field. I decided to take a hiatus from that world, but as I said in my first post, that world never takes a break from me. I have no complaints though. I've always been the type of person who would prefer the company of animals vs humans.
My name is Kirsten. I live in southern IN. I'm 39 yrs old.
