I did make the little felted hen. Needle felting is the single most popular thing that I do/teach. So, if I must needle felt, then there must be chickens!

Thank you! They really are neat little girls and have a funny story. A friend of mine has Swedish Flower Hens and keeps a couple of Silkies for broody duty. They all live with her pretty SFH roo. One of the Silkies went broody and she put a clutch of SFH eggs under her. When they hatched, they were most definitely not pure SFH. Later, she found all of the SFH eggs rolled into corners and hidden under bedding. The Silkies rebelled and decided to hatch their own!! And I ended up with 2 of them.
