Hello everyone,
I'm Tangyra from Nepal, I'm a small farmer living outside kathmandu. I have often been reading plenty of posts and have found your information extremely valuable. Thank you so much, you guys are an awesome community, and I've finally decided to sign up .

I don't have to much knowledge apart from our traditional knowledge on raising chickens and the bits I've read on the Internet. I have a small mixed flock, one asil pair, four silkies, four polish chickens, some kadaknath, a red jungle fowl, and quite a few sakini (our indigenous breeds)

I'll try give as much knowledge as I can, but I'll probably be asking a lot more questions.

This is my favourite 8 year old rooster called Bruce.

Hi and welcome :frow:frow:frow:welcome
kadaknath, a red jungle fowl, and quite a few sakini (our indigenous breeds)
I'd love to see some pictures of those breeds, how interesting!
It is always so wonderful to hear stories from other places on our shared planet
Absolutely! I imagine you have your own problems to overcome keeping chickens where you live! I can't get my head around the Americans and Canadians that need to protect thier flocks from bears :eek:but I imagine you have some other interesting things you need to worry about there! Look forward to learning more.
