Hi everyone!
I received my first 2 chicks in 2022 from my dd's preschool class. We now have 8 chickens from 2.5ys to 8 months in age. Wyandottes, Easter Eggers and Sussex. I love to watch and chat with the chickens, which my husband and 4 kids find very entertaining ;-) I love gardening both flowers and edible plants (ie things I can feed my family like tomatoes, corn, herbs, okra etc), and keeping chickens has brought me one step closer to living a "farm life".
I have read BYC articles and threads many times over the past few years, but finally joined today bc one of my chickens seems unwell, and I have no idea what to do! So thankful for all the wonderful people on here and their willingness to help each other!
