Hi everyone! I am new to the group so introducing myself. We have a small homestead in North Central Kansas were we raise Nigerian Dwarf milk goats, Anatolian livestock guard dogs, turkeys, peacocks & CHICKENS! I never thought I would be a chicken person nor milk goats but here we are, lol. My project is raising Erminettes but finding it hard to find purebred stock. So many people think the Ermine Americauna is the same thing. My last “Erminette” pullets started laying green eggs . I have also found the blue red laced Wyandotte do be a fun breed. Then there is the Cochin bantams. Love the fluffy feet. So many colors to choose from. I have been hatching eggs that I buy from neighbors & absolutely love it. Looking to buy a cabinet incubator next. If you are a Erminette breeder, let’s talk!
