First time incubator here! We made it to day 21! 3/10 original eggs made it to pip day! Of course right before bed I saw all 3 eggs had pipped. This morning I have 2 chicks moving around and 1 egg still intact. I know I should wait but I’m worried about the humidity. Humidity level is now 95% lots of condensation and they knocked off the center lid to the water reservoir. I’m sure there’s not left at this point since they are flapping around but do I just leave everything alone until the last egg hatches? How long do I wait? How long can the 2 hatched ones stay in there waiting on the third potential one? Is the humidity going to be an issue? I’m so worried!

Before they hatch they absorb the yolk. They can live off of that yolk for over 72 hours without eating and drinking. That is nature's way of letting the hen stay on the nest to hatch the later eggs without having to take the first to hatch off of the nest to look for food or water. How long can they stay in there? 72 hours from hatch if you leave them alone.

I've had the humidity get up to 85% after some start hatching and release all of that moisture in the incubator. I left them alone. They did not dry out as fast as they would have if the humidity had been lower. They were at incubator temperature, I was not worried about them getting a chill because they were still damp as long as they were in there. If you remove them while they are still damp try to keep them warm.
