I had 27 baby chicks hatch earlier in may (the 14th) under two broody hens. One baby has a strange lump on her right side. It seems like an air pocket, or it has fluid or something. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her at the time but I’m scared it may get bigger or she could get sick, or something like that. Should i quarantine her? or is she ok to be with the others. I was thinking it could be a birth defect but I’m not sure. Here are pictures, I couldn’t get a very good one since i was trying to position her with one hand.
