Here are the mixing?dosage Directions on a 4oz pack of "durvet" (water-soluble vitamin and electrolytes mix for use in starting poultry during periods of reduced feed intake.) that I got for my new chicks.

Use Directions/Dosage: Mix fresh solution
daily. Automatic Watering System- add the
following amount to two gallons of stock
solution when porportioner is set to meter
at the rate of one ounce per gallon. Reduced
feed intake: one-4oz packet. Extreme
Conditions: two-4oz Packets

Please be very careful with this!
I am trying to find a thread for you that I read a few weeks ago. An more experienced member of the forum had posted a reminder for everyone about making sure you properly dilute electrolytes. If they are not diluted enough they will kill your birds. I hope you have not already given it to them.

I will keep looking for it for you. I don't know what the proper dilution should be, but do know that you are supposed to mix a concentrate and then use a very small amount of that concentrate per gallon of water to give to your girls. When I find it I will post for you.

Ideal has a vitamin electrolyte formula in a blue and white package that I buy from Mills Fleet Farm. On the back it has mixing directions for large livestock and a separate second section for mixing small amounts for poultry. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. It does not give the measurement for quart size, but I have been using 1/8 teaspoon per quart of water. I also start from the beginning when chicks are day old using Organic Apple Cider Vinager at the rate of 2 teaspoons per quart or 2 tablespoons per gallon. I use the vitamins and electrolytes only for the first week and Organic apple cider vinager every day of their lives. My birds look great !!!

the amount they were telling to mix it in was for a 2 gallon of stock solution to be further diluted by adding to reg water at the rate of 1oz per gallon but for the life of me I couldn't figure what that would mean for me who only wants to mix it, fully diluted, 1 gallon at a time. It end up being something like .015625oz of powder to one gallon of water ready to serve. I do not have a kitchen scale that would weight .015625 oz!

I can't figure out why they'd not have a simple little dosage chart and help end the confusion for once and all!!

I think the OP was asking about the dosage for Durvet High Performance Poultry Pak
(Water soluble vitamin and electrolytes mix for use in starting poultry during periods of reduced
feed intake.)
The dosage isn't 3/4 tsp per gallon. That dosage is for Durvet Vitamins & Electrolytes.
A gnat's butt hair less than 1/4 tsp would be closer to the correct dosage. LOL
Durvet's instructions for the High Performance Poultry Pak are as follows:

Treating for reduced food intake - 1 tsp per 10 gallons water (One packet makes 240 gallons )
Treating for extreme conditions - 1 tsp per 5 gallons water (One packet makes 120 gallons)

If you want to be a bit more exact, you can measure 80 oz of water (5 pints or 10 cups) and add 1/8 teaspoon of Durvet high performance poultry pak. That dosage is the same as 1 tsp per 5 gallons. For 1 tsp per 10 gallons, cut dosage to 1/16 tsp per 80 oz of water. (I just eye ball it, as I don't have a way to precisely measure that small.)

I did a lot of searching and a little bit of math to figure out the correct dosage as well. Why can't they just put that on the package?
