I have about 10 fertilized eggs that were under a Broody hen that still need probably one or two days before hatching. She is up now as some of the other eggs have hatched due to a staggered sitting. Is there any chance I can save these eggs to hatch without an incubator or Broody hen? I know they are so close to hatching and I hate to lose them!

Have you candled them? Hear them? Not positive Mama will take them so you'll have to raise them more than likely but she may take them at night if it's not too much if a difference? I'm just going off all the info I've read here

These were under Mama already but shes up now so she is done with them. I know they are fertilized, they just need another day or 2. I can stick them under a heat lamp, I know 100 degrees is the temp. Hmmmm, will they need rotated or turned?

I have them under a heat lamp @ 100 degrees. I thought I read somewhere you can mist them for moisture?? I will give it a shot, anything is worth a try at this point.

It worked! I have one hatched and I can hear atleast 2 more eggs chirping! Keeping them at 100 degrees wrapped in damp towel and misting every couple of hours. I know the humidity is too low but its all I can do. Fingers crossed for the remaining eggs!
