Help identify if a roo or hen - barred rock.?

I know the dad is a barred rock They said the mom could be Easter egger. Attached is another pic showing more of the tail. I know hens crowing is not as common.

Male specific feathering doesn't start to come in until 12 weeks at the earliest. If we know the dad is a barred rock, then we know all of his offspring will inherit a single copy of barring from him. In this case the hen would just about have to be an easter egger to produce the muffs and comb.

I still think cockerel, but time will out and it won't hurt anything to wait and see. Please keep us updated and post pictures again in a few weeks.
