Bought some chicks from the local farm store supposedly all pullets but this one here is giving rooster vibes lol they are about 4 and a half weeks old

What breed is she? If she’s a barred rock or cuckoo marans, she’s definitely a pullet because males of those breeds are much lighter in color. If she’s something like an olive egger, it’s a bit early to say for sure.

It might be a bit early to say for sure. I look for saddle feathers at about 3 months, give or take, to make a reliable call on whether it's a cockerel or a pullet

It’s the only one in the bunch who has long tail feathers that stick straight up the rest have short bushy tail feathers is what had me thinking maybe a cockerel

Ive heard that some barred rock cockerels can be darker in color so I wasn’t 100% sure
