Help! Mother hen got on wrong nest

Hey all first time posting!

I finally decided to let a my chickens gather enough eggs to hatch me some babies! Its been about 2 to 3 weeks.
This mother hen is super awesome she stays on all night and day. Gets uo to poop and eat gets back on. Last night we started to freeze i got uo this morning she was on another close by nest! All her eggs were cold! I dont k ow but i am almost positive she got on the wrong nest! I immediatly moved her and put the new eggs she warmed up u lnder her as well. She started sniffing looked confused and sat. My question. Is how cold can eggs this old and almost ready get before dying!???? I candle light one about a 4 days ago an looked good..

Under good conditions, 10 hours is the max. You did mention it was freezing tho so that's not good. Could another bird have been in there? If another bird was in the box through the night and got off at first light then you may get lucky. Good luck!

Shes the only one sitting. I did have a few i know died she pushed those particularly away 2 days in a row. Then last night we had chicken go crazy apparently and took all her eggs and sprrad them through the coop and run! This is nuts. I picked them all up and she was sitting on a few i put them back and she was so cute she started scooting them back over to her under her... shes the best chicken i jist love her and really want her to hatch something shes been sitting forever!

I bought a cheap little incubater to see but honestly id like her to hatch them and raise them. Seems more natural. I took the chicken out i think went nuts her looks a little kooky.
