Help: My Broiler rooster is sick

Pics
I found this thread from several years ago and found it interesting.
The initial link no longer works but the thread comments are still there.
There are many foods being talked about for their antiinflamatory properties.
Cherries/ cherry juice/ cherry extract are being used by people with arthritis.
The popularity of Tumeric for treating inflammation is widespread as well.
I am curious, after you put liquid turmeric on your bird’s feathers, did he preen at all?
If not, please try to get him to injest a small amount.
I have no idea how much as a dose.
I’d start with a small amount since he is a small bird.

Thanks stacey, you are helping a lot. I read all of them, especially the forum article provided by you is quite good. I knew what is the problem and how gout is formed. and it's my mistake for not maintaining my rooster proper diet and now I am facing problems. When applied turmeric to both of my roosters they just tried to clean their feathers for some time and they are completely fine with turmeric. I think 1tsp turmeric powder with 3 lts. of drinking water would do. Ya I can provide him red cherries , it's available everywhere here. After all the articles I read ... I think I should skip egg as there is risk for more calcium deposits in his kidney ... I will stick with the fish part and continue giving electrolytes and water as much as possible.

Just wanted to say you're a good person. This guy never would have had a chance at life without you. Even if it's a 'broiler' chicken he still deserves love and care. You're awesome.
I agree with you @2 many chickens our new friend @connectdave has proven himself to be a kind and worthy chicken steward. And I feel honored to have made his acquaintance.
This rooster of his, whatever length his life will be, has been a blessed one.
He has been cared for and cherished and he has known love.
That’s pretty much my own goal in life.
To love and to be loved....

You are doing all the work, friend. I’m only keeping you company.

Connectdave, I really doubt that your poor rooster has gout, and would hate to see you ignore other possibilities. There are 2 types of gout, visceral which affects the kidneys, and articular that causes swelling of the feet. There is no way of knowing if he has the type that affects the kidneys without a necropsy after death. He obviously doesn’t have the swollen feet of articular gout. Usually there are white crystals on the internal organs with gout, and in the joints in articular gout.

His green diarrhea with the white urates is a common sign in chickens who have not been eating and drinking enough. He probably would benefit from feeding him the eggs and other good sources of protein to build him up. I would just try to feed a healthy balanced diet, with vitamins and minerals. You seem like a very caring person to care for this rooster, and I hope he gets better.

Here is a good link with pictures of the feet and organs in gout:

Eggcessive thanks, I am currently feeding him with every possible good diet. I don't know if there is gout but I don't want to take chance in anyway to ignore. Currently his diet includes :
Morning - Yougart with bread, a very little bit of cooked pasta .
Lunch time - Fish and cooked rice. I try to give him cabbage but he won't eat now. He used to eat cabbage a lot. Currently he doesn't eat cabbage neither he likes oily food. So I had to make sure that the fish is fried with very less amount of oil. I use olive oil in fish currently.
Night - Fish and bit of paneer.
I have been feeding electrolytes every 1 hour. But at the time of night he gets dehydrated, I don't know how to keep watch at night. Every morning the Milky white poops are excessive white. I keep some water near him always butafter turning off the light , he is unable to see it. If I keep the lights on the other rooster don't sleep and start crowing. Can you help me out here and give some idea
