Help! My dog keeps eating the chicken food

I wasn't sure where the best place to post this would be but I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. My dog loves chicken food (layers pellets and cracked corn) and he sneaks in their run and gobbles it up whenever he can. Recently he has been experiencing digestive issues and I'm wondering if this might be the cause.....

I only have four chickens and they have one of those very small prefab coops. They really only sleep in there and lay eggs. I'm going to problem solve his access to the feed ... I guess what I'm looking for is if anyone knows if this could be the source of his digestive issues

Weird dog, hahaha. But it seems like that is the case with his digestive issues..... just make sure he doesn't get access to the feed and see if everything clears up for him in a few days.

I keep the feeder along with food in a large locking trash can
as for dog eating chicken pellets as long as he dont try to lay eggs he'll be fine,
my dog eats fish pellets he lays in front of tanks waiting till they get fed again
I'm sure he'll be eating chicken pellets once he discovers then

my dogs have those issues let him roam the yard eating grass
grass helps digestion

One of our dogs will eat layer crumble if I leave the feed bins open when I feed the girls. You don't need to worry.

It is likely to give your dog the 'Trots' big time.
My problem is stopping the dogs eating chicken poo!!

I was always having to run the goats out of the chicken house so the chickens would have something to eat. They lived; no problems.
