hello! i have a female duck that has been laying an egg per day for almost 2 years but on May 8th she began making a nest and laying all of her eggs there… none of them are fertile since i don’t have a drake, but it’s been over a month and the last few days she’s been refusing to move so now i really wanna get her some fertile eggs to see if she takes them in but i have absolutely no experience… her nest is in my garden uncovered and that worries me now that she won’t move, not even to go into her coop at night…
please, i need all the information/suggestions i can get asap!! thanks!!

It's too late for her to sit another incubation cycle, it takes a lot out of her to be broody. Encouraging her to sit longer may kill her.
Take away the eggs and throw them out, destroy the nest, lock her in the coop.
oh :( she’s been so dedicated… i feel bad taking them away… could i try later on tho? or how long do i need to wait?
