Hello everyone! So I’m incubating a goose egg and I just went to candle it and it has internally pipped. It is breathing and I’ve heard it peep many times. This is my only goose egg that should hatch soon so I’m really hoping that it’ll be all right! I put it into lockdown and I’m hoping to see an external pip soon. Should I keep it in lockdown? I don’t know how long it’s been piped. Is this normal? It’s as Sebastopol goose and I heard that they incubate for 35 days and it’s day 29.

Please help! Thanks!

I found this online.

I just added a safety hole to the goose egg just to make sure it doesn’t run out of oxygen.(I do this to most eggs that are more valuable to me)

It sounds like from @GodLovesU post, they have a range of days that is normal for them to hatch and it is within the range of normal. Fingers crossed for it to hatch just fine on its own!
