HELP!! My egg internally piped 6 days early!

OK, so I believe it started hatching, but there is this yellow liquid kind of seeping out of the egg. Is this normal? It was doing good zipping, but then it slowed down a bit. I think that it got its bill stuck outside of the egg. If it doesn’t start hatching soon, I’ll probably help it. But is this yellow liquid normal?

Any updates on the little guy? I lost a chick (chicken, I don't have any experience with geese) in my hatch because she ruptured her yolk sac somewhere in lockdown, she had an unabsorbed yolk sac and the egg had liquid yellow yolk inside when I opened it up on day 23. But she had never peeped, pipped, wiggled, or attempted to hatch, so I don't want to scare you. Yours is obviously alive and trying to break out. I'm wondering if maybe it's a bit of yolk remnant. Is your baby still peeping and moving, and are you able to tell if it has fully absorbed its yolk sac? As long as it is alive, I wouldn't worry just yet. It takes so much effort to get out of an egg!

She still seems to be doing good. I don’t think it’s leaking the yellow liquid anymore. Still peeping a lot and wiggling, but I think her bill is stuck outside of the egg. I tried to push it in a few times, but then when she tries to push and break the shell, she pushes her bill out again. I do not have any way of telling if she’s ruptured her yolk sack or not. I’ve tried candling, but that doesn’t show much. I do know that she’s fully absorbed veins though.

I'm glad to hear there's not much more liquid coming out. That is probably a good sign. I would just keep monitoring her which it sounds like you are doing! An exposed/ruptured yolk sac upon hatch isn't necessarily a death sentence either, so when she gets out just check and see how her navel looks. Keep us updated!!! I'm rooting for her!

Thank you! She is peeing very frequently. I kind of tried to rotate her and put her pill inside the egg and she has now just broke a big piece of it, but it hasn’t actually fallen off yet. Hoping she’ll be out soon so I can see what’s really going on. Thanks for the help! Will definitely keep updated!

So I removed some of the shell and now little babies halfway out the egg. I can’t see yet, but I’m hoping everything’s fine.

I can kind of see and it looks like she’s a little unabsorbed. I’m gonna try and leave her for a bit and hope everything gets sucked in.
