Tried Vaseline and tweezers and it did get rid of a lot but there are still so MANY! They are on their face, head, neck, and under wings. I have never seen anything like this before. Would the spray mist be safe for them? Thank you so very much for responding!
If you dont have guiena fowl freeranging...you may consider getting some....they will help cut down the ticks in the grass etc. Not seen one on my dogs since i got them....or anyone else.
Where do you live? the ticks may have only arrived now because of a temporary spike in humidity and heat...
I agree with chickenzoo, adams flea and tick mist spay worked with us in Canada, too bad it's impossible to find it here...
diatomaceous earth will kill ticks and Fleas And Mites.
And it is not a chemical Google it do some research and plus it is cheap in bulk Get the food grade and you can dose all animals with it and kill and prevent worms.
I have been using it for over 2 years now and its great.
It takes a little time but it works if you dust the area and the birds you will have to re dust after a hard rain.
