Help with geese

I don't have an answer but I've just ordered the exact 2 goslings, are they generally quiet? Would you reccomend this combo?

yeah, they are, my bouff is loud but my embden are quiet

This will depend on whether you have a flock of them, and how close your neighbor is, and their tollerance for the tribal goose dance.

Basically the ganders spread their wings and lock beaks to shoulders, while the geese circle around them and start to wail. One goose begins the Ululation with a EAHH EAHH EAHH EAHH and the dance begins!

Wow, that's cool. I've never seen that. This is my first year with farm animals (Embden geese) I have two right now. Hopefully a goose and gander, I named them after Ricky and Lucy Ricardo from "I Love Lucy" because my goose is just like Lucy.
I have a question: Do Embden's (or any geese in general) lay eggs the first year? Like mine were born May 10th 2024, will my goose lay this spring (2025)?
