Help..

It was housed with 5 silver laced polish and other silkies. They are all the same size. Maybe 2 months old. I will have to go to tractor supply and look for the poultry cell. I only have VetRx, tylan 50 and rooster booster. Apple cider vinegar in the water now. What you see in the picture is all you would see in the video. The only difference is the breathing. Won’t move

Yes I have that

I would give her direct dose of the Poultry Cell at 1 cc per 3 pounds of weight to get her started on vitamin therapy, but for Wry Neck it would be better to get some Vitamin E (400IU) and also give 1/4 tablet of B-Complex daily. Egg, tuna or sunflower seeds would be good to add for the uptake of E.

Do keep in mind that Wry Neck is a symptom - there's many causes - from Marek's disease or head trauma to vitamin deficiency. The general consensus is to offer vitamin therapy to see if there is improvement.

You may find the video below helpful since you are helping her drink. A lot of people have found this method is fairly easy. Tube feeding is another option. In the video she talks about giving oatmeal - personally, I would not give that - chick starter is what she needs so make that into a mash (feed plus warm water, make to the consistency of oatmeal). You can add bits of egg or whatever you wish. If she won't eat the starter, give her some eggs.

Also you may want to roll up one of your towels and prop her up a little, that may also help with digestion (letting the crop empty). I know you are doing what you can for the little one. A chick chair is another idea, it just depends if she is able to stay in one, since she's so stiff, she may flip out of it. Here's a link for chairs, you can also google images of chick chairs for more ideas. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/versions-of-chick-chairs-please.1166308/

Thank you. I will make the mash with chick starter right now and give some poultry cell. I will get vitamin e tomorrow if she hangs on that long- soonest I can. If she doesn’t eat the mash I will offer eggs and if she doesn’t eat that I will try the tube feeding
:hugs Keep us posted.

Oh, I forgot to add.... Welcome To BYC! I'm sorry that your first visit is during this stressful time, but we're glad your here.

Welcome to BYC.

Did you hatch this bird?
Did you add this bird to an already established flock?

What exactly do you feed it?
The chicken has been eating the mash of hick starter and water and I put electrolytes in its water. As I was helping it eat my worst nightmare came true and I saw a white little mite crawl across its face. My question now is should I wash it with dawn dish soap? It hasn’t really improved but is still going. Did a good job eating with my help. How can I get rid of the mites on it?

I'm going to guess that you probably saw lice and not a mite.

Either way the best thing you can do is get some permethrin today.
Not only should you treat this bird immediately but treat everybody else and your coop too.

My favorite and the easiest to use are the premixed sprays like this:
