Help!

I have had several of my silkies pass in the past week.. it’s like they drop weight, become lethargic then die. Some are extremely healthy and some are on the skinny side. I have given electrolytes and have bought them a higher protein feed.. I was afraid it was coccidiosis so I started treating with Corid 2 days ago.. I’m exhausted and stressed out on why my poor silkies are dying. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I am in ga.

When is the last time you wormed them, if ever? You can take a stool sample to any local vet and request a fecal float test. This will tell you if they have worms and if so, what kind. Then you can come back and ask how to treat them, if they test positive. Don't just take a sample from one bird but from several.

I treated them for lice several months ago and beat that but I haven’t checked for internal worms! I definitely will do that.

What is the coop/run like, you are in GA, but do they have shelter/protection from wind/cold?

How many is several?

What do you feed, including treats?

Can you post photos of them and their poop?

I'd re-check for lice and mites.
Feel the crops to see if they are emptying overnight.

Getting a fecal float as suggested is a good idea, this will help rule out internal parasites as part of the problem.

Any other symptoms - do they stop eating/drinking, stumbling/balance issues, respiratory symptoms, etc.?
