My poor baby started panting aprox 5 days ago. I have other chicks who are just fine. She is the runt. I have her separated now. I had her with another chick for company but noticed it peck at her so took that one out. She is skin and bones. I have been hand feeding her from time to time egg yolk. I've given her vetrx every day. I have started putting the corid in her water beginning today, just in case. She gets fresh water every day. Ive tried a little bit of sugar in the water. I've tried apple cider vinegar in the water. She still gets the hydro hen in the water. She's on medicated food, although I did have a point when she was not given it because Tractor supply was out but only for a week ish. She still pecks at the food and I noticed her drink from her water today but not much. She's still active and scratches around and stuff. She was on pine bedding but I recently switched to hemp. Also, her poop was green for a couple days but is back to brown. She is stretching out her neck and panting. She sounds congested and wheezy.

What else can I do for her? She's a pet and her name is Minnie. Should I put her on straw? I really want her to beat the odds and push through.

How old is she? And she is not getting any food except the little bit of egg yolk you're hand feeding her a little bit throughout the day? Is she eating any of the medicated feed? Have you tried wetting it so it's like oatmeal, or putting a little yogurt in it?

She pecks at her food here and there. I'm not sure that she is eating much though, her crop is empty. I've tried giving her wet food several times, even before she got sick. For some reason my chicks just don't like it. I've given her black fly larvae on occasion. Since she's been sick I don't think she will eat it. I tried making a slurry of yolk and the hydro chick but again I had to feed her with a syringe. She wanted nothing to do with it. I have not tried oats because I read mixed reviews about giving it to chicks. It's worth a try if you think so.
I got her from cleaver farm and home March 14. My guess is around 3 weeks old maybe?

Plain yogurt? Mix with her food and oats?
