My top hen has a red bottom... it's been red lately but now it's the worst. We have no roosters. I checked for lice/mites. Their is none. They did have mites but it's been over a month since they have been completely gone! She is molting so could this be the cause of it?? What can I do to help her? She's still laying! Eating and drinking, acting normal.

Apply Nu-Stock to the effected area and it will heal in no time, as well as stopping any picking. Shake the tube well and wear disposable gloves when applying it. It can be found in the equine section at a feed store.
