I found our 5 year old Easter Egger sitting in the nesting box two nights ago, and thinking she was egg bound, brought her in the house for observation. She had very dirty tail feathers and upon inspection, I did not feel an egg stuck so I gave her a tums and let her sleep for the night. In the morning, she still had not pooped nor laid an egg. I gave her a bath, soaked her in epsom salts for 20 minutes or so, gave her a laxative, more calcium and safeguard paste. The only poop she has laid is extremely watery and white. Her crop is empty but her breath is extremely sour. She’s drinking water and a little very wet feed. My gut feeling is that she has a blockage-likely cancer-further down the digestive or reproductive tract, but is there anything else I can or should try? Also, her demeanor is pretty good, color is also good. I’m hoping there’s something I can do but realize it’s not a great situation
