Okay I did that about 45 minutes ago.Treat her for shock-she will need a little sugar and electrolytes in water
She can walk, stand, fly up to the roost. I have a rooster but do not think he caused a wound this deep. There’s a similar wound closer to the beginning of her wing.Vetericyn, saline, or chlorhexidene is good to use on wounds. Then follow with plain neosporin triple antibiotic ointment twice a day. Keep her separated from others but it is good to be in there sight for her to stay a part of the flock. Watch for flies, and permethrin or deet may be used on wounds to prevent flies. We have hawks, raccoons, and all other predators here. Do you have a rooster or a bully that might have pecked her ? Is she able to stand or walk? Fluids or electrolytes would be good to give for shock.
