She was panting while free ranging, she didn’t eat her scratch grains as normal, and now she’s laying down. Looks listless. Humped feathers on her back.
Is she just hot? It’s 74 Fahrenheit.

How old? What breed? What does her poop look like? I would bring her inside and dose with NutriDrench. Keep in warm, dark spot and assess the situation.

Sorry for the lack of info, I was in a bit of a rush.
She’s a silver laced Wyandotte, 1 year and 3 months. Haven’t seen what her poops look like.
I think she’s egg bound. I’ve got her in a tub soaking. We’ll put her in a cage in our basement. Trying to give her a calcium pill now.

Sounds good! Hope that helps

I’ve dealt with egg bound hens before, so I’m pretty much all set on that part :)

Why do you think she was panting? I soaked her feet in cold water and tried to make her drink to cool her off a bit. Her comb is still red, btw.
Don't know why she was panting. She could have just been really stressed? But if her breath is raspy or gurgly then that would be bad
