Hen laying down listless — Update: looks egg bound

Interesting. They don't develop immunity to the antibiotic?

I heard about that. What would be the healthiest option?

Also, should there be an egg withdrawal period for Tiamulin?
Tiamulin was developed to treat MG only.
You can try fruit juice first to see if they will drink it, but if it's still unpalatable stir in a little corn syrup to help sweeten it more. The goal is to get them to drink the medicated water.

There is no withdrawal period when using Tiamulin according to the label.

Hi, Welch Chickens! How is your girl doing? Has she improved since the last update? Are the other chickens doing okay too? :hugs I hope all is well!

Hi! Thanks for checking in :hugs

Pepper is 100% healed and back with the flock. Their case of mycoplasma has been cleared up with the Tiamulin.

I'm so happy we didn't end up losing anyone through all this! :wee

How's your flock doing with the worm issue?

This is wonderful to hear, and makes my heart so happy! :wee

My chickens are doing very well! Sadie gained back 5-6 oz! They all got the color back in their combs, and are enjoying their time with their chicken family. 💗
