HEN LOST WEIGHT UPDATE

I brought my hen inside, (to cold and snowy) to make a separate area in the run right now. I set up a safe place for her to sleep at night and food and water. Unfortunately, she is refusing to eat her food and only wants snacks. I made the mistake of putting sunflower seeds in her dish along with the food and she is throwing all the food out looking for snacks!
Her legs still seem weak, I am giving her sugar water as suggested. Will keep you posted

If your chicken is still recovering, give her anything she will eat for now and keep offering the regular feed and keep up the electrolytes.

I would all of the seeds and grains. Put out your balanced chicken feed. Add a little water to a small bowl of it. Mine usually love moistened feed. Bits of scrambled egg occasionally gets their interest.
