I noticed just today that Blackie, my Black Star (currently molting), has been making gurgling-like (?) sounds with her throat when she drinks water (I can actually see her throat move when she does it; it looks as if she were making normal clucking noises). She doesn't do any other time and is healthy; eating, active, etc. I've been keeping her inside due to the freezing temperatures and her lack of feathers. None of the other hens have been doing this as far as I can tell. Any ideas?
