Hen not laying....

Like @aart said, it's more than likely the lack of light. Mine just about quit till I started giving them supplemental light in the mornings. Now they are laying strong again.
So would it be advisable to put some sort of light in the coop? Any advise on what sort of light? The inside of my coop is very small.

One of mine stopped a few weeks ago, I still have one laying but as aart above says I'm putting down to the shorter daylight days.
I have 3 more that havn't laid at all since I got them, so I think it's wait while Spring lol.

I wouldn't recommend putting any kind of lite in a small coop. Too much heat, plus the birds could break the bulb, get electrocuted, or start a fire. You can get a mechanics drop light that they would have a hard time breaking. Plug it into a cheap timer so that for the first week the light wakes them up about an hour before sunrise. Then add 15 minutes light each week till they are up to about 13 hours of light. I'd hang it out in the run shining into the chicken house where they roost. It only takes about a 40 watt bulb to get them off the roost and greeting the day.
