Hen or Cock, what breed??

Shows what I know, my vote was that it is totally a girl, with a magnificent comb.
The key points that may have helped you with your assessment would be that one must always consider those "magnificent combs" relative to the reported age of the bird in question....yes, a hen could have the comb shown, but not at this age....that would be the comb of a mature hen while this is an immature bird.
It also helps when you are able to quickly spot specific types of birds, such as sex links, where the plumage is the key to the gender… stick around and pretty soon you'll be as quick to spot the boys and girls as the rest of us.....it just takes time
