Hi I just got this Easter egger barred rock cross. I was told she's a 3-4 months old pullet. Face is a little flushed because she was attacked by my other hens.

Is she a pullet or cockerel?

An Easter Egger cockerel. The patchy redish color on the shoulders is typical of a male.

An Easter Egger Is a mix so in this case, a Barred Rock mixed with an EE would just be called an EE.

Did the seller by any chance tell you which parent was which? (EE father, BR mother, or other way around.) I’ve not seen too many barred EEs, so if the father was the EE, then it’s (most likely) a sex linked cross, and you won’t get any barred females from that.
