Yes, it is a cockerel. You can see male specific feathering coming in at the saddle in the picture with the single bird. The other one looks exactly like it, so I think it is a cockerel too.

I am thinking two boys. I see saddle feathers on the first one and the second one has some pretty pointy looking hackle feathers
