Hen saddle. Will mine work?

Hello everyone! I have recently started making hen saddles for my Etsy site. I don’t actually have a rooster, though only hens. I added gene so that the Spurs won’t go through. Do you guys think these hen saddles will work?

We bought some made of hard canvas so they were breathable. If I hadn't found those I may have tried yours!

Does it have something to keep it down on her so it can't flap up or is it too rigid to be able to do that? If so, I'd mention that in your ad.

I think they meant “Jean” from scrap jeans that you wear.
