Yesterday morning when I let the hens back in after some free range time I had a slow moving hen back to the run, after work she was just standing in the corner of the run. When I picked her up a lot of brown/yellow liquid ran from her mouth, so I massaged her crop and she had about four episodes of vomiting up this brown/yellow liquid. I separated her from the flock in a crate, we gave her some water with ACV with a syringe as well as a dropper full of nutradrench also put some yogurt in with her. I massaged her crop one more time before bed, but she did not vomit up with water or nutradrench. Her comb and wattles appear redder than normal and dry. this morning she seems more alert and had droppings in her crate which were yellow/green mucousy and smelled like bile. She didn't eat any of the yogurt and I can't tell if she took any water so I am going to syringe feed her both. I am thinking it may be sour crop, but I am looking for anyone else's insight. Thanks you in advance.
